Our public contact forms and ordinary email are for business inquiries, not patient records. Do not send patient names, dates of birth, diagnoses, insurance identifiers, medical records, or other protected health information through them.

HIPAA is a US law that sets rules for certain health information. Where MedLix RCM handles protected health information on behalf of a healthcare practice, the applicable service agreement and business associate agreement govern that work. A business associate agreement sets out responsibilities for handling that information. This website policy is not a healthcare provider's Notice of Privacy Practices.

Patients seeking access to or correction of medical or billing records should contact their healthcare provider.

6. Storage, retention, and security

Information is retained for the purposes described here, including business follow-up, contractual obligations, dispute resolution, and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is held.

Our service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. No website or email system can guarantee complete security. Please use only the secure channels agreed with your practice for sensitive service-related information.
